'Looking Back' Wins Best Drama at World's Largest Short Film Competition.

I’ve always wanted to enter the My Rode Reel Competition since it began in 2014, but always found an excuse not to. This year I decided it was time to stop making excuses and make a short film that would be the best in the entire competition. Although we didn’t win the Judges Award I truly feel like we made the best film out of 1680 entires into the competition and walked away with a win for Best Drama and was nominated for Judges Award, Best Cinematography, and Best Art Direction.

I can’t believe what my team was able to accomplish in such a short amount of time. We filmed for two days in Blanchester, OH on August 10-11 and had the film completed and turned into the competition by August 28th!
